How Transporters.io complies with EU General Data Protection Regulation. Effective 25 May 2018.

To comply with GDPR, Transporters.io announced a set of changes to our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and software products. These took effect on the 25th May 2018. Users who wanted to close their account before that date could either deactivate it directly or contact support.

  • Clarified data collection, usage and the purposes for which we hold information
  • Added a Cookie Policy at /cookies
  • Documented data-subject rights: access, portability, rectification, erasure
  • Updated processor agreements with our subprocessors (Intercom, Google, Mixpanel)

Key changes to the software

  • Delete-all-data button in the Customers section — supports the right to be forgotten
  • Export-all-data button so customers can take their personal data with them
  • Improved opt-out controls for marketing and communications
Your responsibility

Important GDPR-related details

If you use our software, our compliance does not automatically make your own business GDPR-compliant — you remain the data controller for the customer data you collect through Transporters.io. We give you the tools (export, delete, opt-out controls) but the process and policy on your side are yours to operate.
